More than 1,000 households to win money back on energy bills in British Gas’ biggest ever membership giveaway

British Gas is giving more than 1,000 members the chance to win free energy this May in its biggest prize draw to date.

The latest Win Your Bill draw, running from 5th to 31st May, will see 1,001 members win prizes, including 1,000 weekly bill winners each receiving approximately £31.50 and one grand prize winner taking home a full year of free energy, worth £1641.

The expanded giveaway follows the success of the first Win Your Bill draw earlier this year. This time, British Gas has increased the total number of winners from three to over 1,000 and more than six times the total prize value, now worth over £33,000, to help even more households with their energy costs.

The giveaway is part of British Gas Membership, the free scheme launched in 2025 that offers customers exclusive discounts and rewards. Since launching, members have saved over £2 million through the scheme.

To enter, you simply need to be a British Gas energy customer, sign up to British Gas Membership, and opt in through your personalised membership wallet. Members will also receive an email invitation to take part. The British Gas Membership is free and open to homeowners, tenants and landlords, and it takes just a few minutes to register online.

Alongside the prize draws, members benefit from a range of always-on offers tailored to their needs, including discounts on annual services, emergency repairs and Hive products, helping households manage the cost of unexpected home maintenance.
